Originally established in the summer of 1970, Founders’ Fair was proclaimed by then Orangeville Mayor Gordon J. Bredin, as an “atmosphere of pleasant shopping in our downtown area”, while providing at the same time “…a reflection on our past history”.   Over recent years the event has evolved into a full outdoor fair, and has become known throughout the community for the talented North American buskers who stroll our streets, performing and amazing with their talents.
