Film Festival coming to Caledon!
Celebrate film’s power to inspire change through entertainment during “Reel Cinema for a Real Cause” March 20 to 22, 2008!
The three-day film festival will screen five films appealing to a variety of audiences, including youth, families, film buffs and the general public. As members of the Toronto International Film Festival Film Circuit Group, “Reel Cinema for a Real Cause” will open with a black tie gala screening at Royal Ambassador Conference Centre in Caledon and screen the remaining films at Empire Theatres, Bolton.
Tickets are on sale now through Family Transition Place, host of the festival. Proceeds from the festival will support Family Transition Place’s “Raise Respect Campaign” for violence prevention programs and initiatives.
Family Transition Place is working to raise respect and eliminate violence by providing counselling and shelter for abused women and their children and skill-building violence prevention education for youth, women and men in Caledon and Dufferin.
