A Murder Mystery Dinner Tour aboard the Credit Valley Explorer Tour Train
On October 20th, treat yourself to a truly suspenseful evening aboard Orangeville’s own Credit Valley Explorer Tour Train! Enjoy a three-hour dinner tour through the Hills of Caledon but be careful, you never know who might be lurking in the seat behind you!
Where will the murder take place? Will the train be stopped while crossing the harrowing trestle at the Forks of the Credit in order to remove a body from the track? And who dunnit? Guests will be participants in the unravelling of the Murder on the Headwaters Express from the moment they board the train until the intriguing conclusion.
Hosted by the Hills of Headwaters Tourism Association, the event includes a three-hour scenic tour aboard the Credit Valley Explorer, a three-course dinner, cash bar, and a lethal dose of suspense and intrigue.

Discover Broadway Halloween Harvest Celebration
Saturday, October 27th ~ 12pm to 4pm
Downtown Orangeville is celebrating autumn in the Hills of Headwaters with a special family fun day on Saturday, October 27th.
Enjoy a “Taste of Broadway” with samplings and demonstrations at selected retail stores, restaurants and cafes and then wander over to Second Street and discover the seasonal delights available from our harvest merchants.
Ghosts, goblins and other spooky characters are invited to stop at participating businesses for a special Halloween treat, enjoy a pony ride or pumpkin decorating activities in Alexandra Park, face painting at Perfectly Pampered Prince & Princess and special entertainment from Daisy the Witch.
Heritage Orangeville will be hosting a Haunted Walk of downtown Orangeville at 3:00 pm and a Ghost Tour at 7:00 pm, and the Dufferin Circle of Storytellers present “An Orangeville Ghost Story” at 2:00 pm at the Opera House (no charge).
Other entertainment includes Broken Joe Acoustic Trio and the Whirlygigs Celtic Ensemble.
