Summer in the Hills of Headwaters

AUGUST 2007 ISSUE

Downey's Framboise Wine

Grown in the Hills

This summer, reconnect with our living countryside in the Hills of Headwaters, part of Ontario’s Greenbelt.

Just a short drive from Toronto, visitors will find a sophisticated rural destination where they can plant their feet on the bare earth, can dine on salad greens that were picked fresh this morning, vegetables from a nearby farm, or berries that grow wild along the nearby fence line.

The bounty of the harvest is evident everywhere in the Hills of Headwaters! Visit our farm markets, our gourmet food shops and our world-class eateries and experience food as it was meant to be – fresh from the source and directly to your plate. Talk to our shop owners, chefs and your overnight hosts and you’ll soon realize that in the Hills of Headwaters ‘our living countryside’ is truly a philosophy.

Join us for a variety of culinary inspired activities where you can see, touch and taste the bounty of the land first hand -- fall fairs, farm tours, culinary events and so much more – all Grown in the Hills of Headwaters!

Reconnect with our living countryside in the Hills of Headwaters!
