SEED DREAM; Immersive landscapes of Paul Morin
At the Burdette Gallery June 30th -August 5th 2007.
All life begins with a seed. The seed is the plan.
The body of the seed transforms into the duality of root and stem.
The plant is the dream of the seed, joining the earth and sky.
This new work explores the seed from potential to actualization.
I spend countless hours observing light within the forest both day and night.
I attempt to reflect a deep emotional connection to the place I am immersed in.
With intense vivid color these paintings seem to flicker at the edge twilight.
On Saturday June 30 there will be an opening reception and artist talk featuring a screening of a new video/music work by Paul.
The Burdette Gallery is situated on 65 rolling acres, at 111212 11th Line, Orton. Half way between Orangeville & Fergus, 1km south of Dufferin County Rd #3.
Open Thursday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm.
