Dr. John C. Carter is a Director for the Ontario Historical Society and a Research Associate in the History and Classica Programme, University of Tasmania. During the 19th century, rapid growth in public education was evidenced in Ontario. The main architects of this revolution were Egerton Ryerson and John George Hodgins. Dr. Carter will present a power point presentation illustrating plans and designed proposed by these two men and offer suggestions for their preservation and re-use. Admission: $5
