Concert for Donato (Dan) Scipione
About one month ago our very dear friend Donato (Dan) Scipione, a local musician and teacher, was involved in a very serious car accident. Without getting into details let us just say we are very fortunate to still have him amongst us but it will be a while before he is able to work.
All of his friends are trying to help in the way they know best... which is to play some music and invite others to come and watch. In years past if a neighbour's barn was struck by lightning their community would come together and help to build them a new one. In this same spirit we are trying to help our friend and his family adjust to the stroke of lightning which has changed their lives. We invite you to be a part of this barn raising and in the process enjoy some of our community's finest singers, songwriters, and performers.
If you cannot attend the concert we will gratefully accept any donations on their behalf. You can also donate goods to be sold at the silent auction that will be held that evening.
The show will be held at The Orangeville Opera House at 87 Broaday.
